Gratitude Journaling

The power of positive thinking does not come naturally. It is usually a learnt or developed skill that has many positive benefits.  Gratitude journals are a valuable tool in achieving this. It enables you to focus on the positive aspects of your life that bring joy or happiness.

Manifesting is another valuable method of developing positive thinking.  It initially convinces the mind that it is possible to achieve what it desires.

Gratitude journaling is about appreciating the positive things that happen in your life to develop a positive mindset.  With mindfulness, little emphasis is placed on the negative thought patterns. Do this activity everyday over an extended period of time to see results (Even a month or more.)

Completing this journal can be a difficult task for someone who has been exposed to a large amount of negativity for an extended period of time. Seeing the positivity to be thankful for can be challenging.  If you feel that this task is extremely challenging, start with the little things and build up to the greater. Actively take note of the littlest things to begin with.  Begin with four or five entries per day. This may include notes about:

o   Interactions

o   Gestures,

o   Observations,

o   Sounds,

o   Visions

o   Memories

o   Pets
